Terms & Conditions – BP Nightmares to Dreams TikTok Challenge

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the BP Nightmares to Dreams TikTok Challenge (“Contest”) organized by Bahamas Shipping & Purchasing. By entering, participants agree to these rules.

1. Eligibility

  • Open to legal residents of The Bahamas, aged 18 years or older.

  • Employees of Bahamas Shipping & Purchasing, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies, and immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

2. Contest Period

  • The Contest runs from October 1, 2025, at 12:00 AM (EST) through October 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM (EST).

  • Submissions outside this period will not be considered.

3. How to Enter

Participants must:

  1. Create a TikTok video telling their worst shipping story: delays, damaged packages, lost items, or customer service providing nonsensical excuses.
  2. Tag @bahamaspurchasing in the caption.
  3. Include all three required hashtags: #BPNightmarestoDreams, #bahamastiktok, and #BahamasShipping.
  4. Encourage supporters to comment “#ChooseBetter” on their video and follow @bahamaspurchasing.

4. Winner Selection

  • The winner will be the video with the most valid “#ChooseBetter” comments as of October 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM (EST).

  • A comment is considered valid only if:
    • It contains the word “#ChooseBetter”.
    • The commenter follows @bahamaspurchasing at the time of verification.
    • Each commenter may contribute only one valid comment; multiple comments from the same account will be counted once.

  • Any use of bots, fake accounts, paid engagement, or third-party services will result in immediate disqualification.

  • The decision of Bahamas Shipping & Purchasing is final and binding.

5. Prize

  • The winner will receive FREE shipping until December 25th, 2025, including Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Christmas, up to a maximum of 1,000 lbs total freight.

  • Free shipping applies to standard freight forwarding services: air freight and ocean freight.

  • The following are not included and remain the responsibility of the winner:

    • Customs duties

    • VAT and environmental levies

    • Insurance

    • Oversized handling fees

    • Other government or third-party charges

  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.

6. Winner Announcement

  • The winner will be announced during November 2025 on the official @bahamaspurchasing TikTok and Instagram pages.

  • The winner must claim the prize within 7 days of notification. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture, and another winner may be selected.

7. Content Rights

  • By entering, participants grant Bahamas Shipping & Purchasing a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display their contest entries: videos, captions, and related content for promotional purposes across social media, websites, and other marketing channels.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Bahamas Shipping & Purchasing is not responsible for:

    • Technical errors on TikTok or other platforms

    • Incomplete, lost, or misdirected entries

    • Errors in comment tracking or verification caused by third-party systems

  • The company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest at any time if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the competition.

9. Acceptance of Terms

  • By participating, entrants agree to these Terms & Conditions and to the decisions of Bahamas Shipping & Purchasing, which are final and binding.
