Welcome to Bahamas Purchasing. By using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Service Description

Bahamas Purchasing provides purchasing, shipping, and forwarding services from the United States to The Bahamas. We act as your personal shopper and freight forwarder, helping you buy products from U.S.-based retailers and delivering them to your door in The Bahamas.

2. Purchasing Services

When you request Bahamas Purchasing to buy products on your behalf, the following conditions apply:

• Request to Purchase: You authorize us to purchase items from U.S. retailers based on your instructions. You are responsible for providing accurate product details, including links, sizes, colors, and quantities.
• Order Accuracy: While we make every effort to fulfill your order accurately, Bahamas Purchasing is not liable for errors resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by you.
• Supplier Communication: We do not guarantee the availability, pricing, or delivery timeline of any product from third-party retailers. Prices may change between the time of your request and the time of purchase.

3. Shipping Services

Our shipping and forwarding services are subject to the following:

• Delivery to U.S. Address: Packages are shipped to our U.S. warehouse address. We then forward them to The Bahamas.
• Handling and Forwarding: We take reasonable care when handling and forwarding packages. However, we are not responsible for damage caused by the original shipper's packaging or by carriers during transit.
• Transport Damage: Bahamas Purchasing is not liable for items damaged during air or sea freight. We recommend purchasing shipping insurance where available.
• Delivery Delays: While we strive for timely delivery, we are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing, weather, carrier issues, or other events beyond our control.
• Dimensional Weight Exception: Air freight is normally calculated based on actual weight. In rare cases where the dimensional (volumetric) weight of a package far exceeds its actual weight, we reserve the right to charge ocean freight rates instead of the standard air freight rate, or to apply dimensional weight pricing at our sole discretion.

4. No Liability for Lost or Misdelivered Items

Bahamas Purchasing is not liable for packages that are lost, stolen, or misdelivered by third-party carriers (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx) either in the United States or in The Bahamas. Once a package is handed to a third-party carrier, responsibility for that package transfers to the carrier.

5. No Refunds on Purchased Items

All purchases made through Bahamas Purchasing are non-refundable . This includes but is not limited to:

• Items that do not fit or meet your expectations
• Items damaged during shipping
• Items that are out of stock after purchase was attempted
• Items affected by retailer return policy restrictions

By using our purchasing service, you acknowledge and accept this no-refund policy .

6. Customs and Import Duties

All import duties, taxes, and fees assessed by the Bahamas Customs Department are the sole responsibility of the customer. Bahamas Purchasing may collect estimated duties at the time of invoicing, but actual amounts are determined by Customs and may differ. Any additional charges must be paid by the customer.

7. Prohibited and Restricted Items

You may not use our services to ship prohibited or restricted items, including but not limited to firearms, ammunition, illegal substances, hazardous materials, perishable goods (without prior arrangement), or any items restricted by U.S. export laws or Bahamas import regulations. Bahamas Purchasing reserves the right to refuse or dispose of any prohibited items without notice or compensation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bahamas Purchasing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Bahamas Purchasing reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be posted on this page and will take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The Bahamas.
